Stephen Gribbon

Steve is presently a councillor in the Borough of Stockport which he has held the role since 2018. During his time he has been the chair of many committees including planning, economy and regeneration and being the vice chair of Greater Manchester Housing.

Steve understands the need for strong representation and support for those who need it, we live in challenging times with the economy, health and housing the concern of so many. "I always give my best for people and this has been recognised by winning 3 councillor elections."

The Chester area is a place that he knows well, personal life brought him here for many years around the Neston area and in his present career he looks after the safety of residents in a large retirement village close to the Chester city centre.

Passionate about the need for more policing and protection for residents and a firm believer in acting to change behaviour which will stop damaging our planet. He lives with his fiancée and their 2 children. Professionally, was an officer in the Fire Service until recent retirement and won 2 awards for outstanding achievement.
